"What can I say? I would have laughed at anyone who said this time last year that by October 2012 you’ll have joined a Bootcamp in Dublin and could actually manage it! I never in a million years thought I could because I thought bootcamps were for fit people.

My friend joined and kicked my ass to try it out. I nearly backed out to be honest but I thought ‘what the heck I’ll give it a go’ even though I was worried I’d be the only overweight person in the class! "Hi Bryan, just wanted to drop you a quick line to say thanks for delivering on your claims! Post baby and just 2.5 months pre wedding, I needed to get a plan.

I saw a link on Facebook and went to a trial class, liked it and decided to give it a shot. I have to admit I didn’t really hold out much hope but figured it couldn’t hurt. I wasn’t huge but I felt so soft and couldn’t find my core with a map! In the past I’ve been a big running fan and it worked for me but only when I had the time to run for at least an hour 5 days a week. The classes aren’t really bootcamps. They are structured fat loss classes that are arranged as much like a personal training session as humanly possible in a group setting. We only call them bootcamps because that is what people are looking for.
